I AM LIMITLESS

“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” Hebrews 13:6

The only thing stopping my shine is me.

Imposter syndrome. Do you know what it is? It’s when you don’t think you deserve to be where you are, even though you’ve worked or studied hard to get there. Can I tell you a secret? I deal with it all the time. Sometimes I struggle to feel worthy of my place in life, or the recognition I receive or the compliments because of what I haven’t accomplished. Sometimes it comes up when other people make statements about who they would or wouldn’t trust based on nothing but opinions… and I let it get to me. But why do we do that? Why do we constantly allow ourselves to be limited?

I went through a certification program recently that challenged me to affirm myself and to ask myself who or what would I be if there was nothing standing in my way. If everything test was passible, every goal reachable, every coin earnable what would I be. One word came to mind: Limitless. I wouldn’t be limited. But the truth is that limits exist first in the mind. Yes, there are levels to be reached and dues to be paid before you can do any and everything on your life journey, but what is keeping you from taking the first step towards it? If you know you must pass a test, what’s stopping you from studying? If you know money must be spent, what’s stopping you from saving? If you know you have to walk before you can run, what’s keeping your legs from moving? Something in the back of your mind is telling you that you are limited and today we’re going to affirm you right out of that mindset.

Affirmation 1: You deserve. That’s it. That’s the affirmation. You deserve every good thing that has come your way. Every acknowledgement. Every compliment. Every opportunity. You have worked hard enough. You have studied long enough. You know what you’re doing. You’ve earned a seat at that table. Stop telling yourself that you don’t.

Affirmation 2: Questioning yourself keeps you humble, don’t let it keep you down. It’s natural to second guess yourself at times, or to be cautious. It’s not a bad thing to want to be sure. But don’t count yourself out to the point where you’re not giving yourself the benefit of the doubt or walking in your gift. What did we say above? You deserve.

Affirmation 3: What can mere mortals do to you? Most of our doubts and limits come from a fear of repercussions or what others will say or think. But God says that He’s with you always and if you’ve got Him, what can a mere mortal do to you? What can they do? What God has for you is for you, honey! Take it! It’s YOURS!

If God says it’s mine, who are you to say anything else?

I affirm you this day to walk in your limitlessness. Walk in your right to be what you are called to be with confidence and pride. Remember that nothing happens that God does not allow, and even though there is so much negative around happening to us all… He makes room for the good, too. So go, be limitless. I love you, and as always I’m rooting for you. Keep conquering daily.
