I AM DETERMINED

Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.” Matthew 19:26

There is nothing beyond my scope of discovery.

I like to consider myself a forever learner. Someone who is committed to being open to learning new things, constantly bettering myself. I have a bachelor’s degree (with two minors) and a master’s degree, both of which I am very proud of. But I also have certifications. I’m not going to rattle them all off for you but I do need 2 hands to count them all. I had a conversation with a friend recently about my decorative cert wall and the reason I don’t just go into a new “hobby” or add a new service to my provider list, about why it’s so important to me to actively and actually learn to the point of recognition. It’s because I want there to be no doubt that I have cultivated my craft and people can trust me to perform in it.

Some of it is imposter syndrome, my fear that people won’t take me seriously without a piece of paper telling them it’s ok to do so. But it’s more to help me walk in my Limitless. I am Determined to be Limitless and that means always reaching for more. Are you reaching for more? And your more doesn’t have to be the same as mine. Maybe you’re Determined to be a healthy so that means running everyday and drinking a certain amount of water. Maybe you’re Determined to be a good cook so you practice different dishes and try different recipes. Maybe you’re just Determined to conquer Anxiety or Depression and you work day and night to recognize and keep those symptoms in check. Whatever you’re Determined to do for your life, I want to affirm you today to walk in Determination and Limitlessness.

Affirmation 1: If you want it, you can have it. Whatever you put your mind to, you CAN do. I tell my clients every time the introduce a new goal during treatment, that it’s possible because they want it to be. You can be healed because you want healing. You can have a better life because you want a better life. Wanting it is just the first step to making it real.

Affirmation 2: It’s Possible. This is more than my favorite song from Robert and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. There will always be someone out there telling you it’s impossible to do something. When they say that it usually means one of 3 things: 1, they can’t fathom how to do it so it’s inaccessible to their mind. 2, no one has ever done it before so they don’t know how to process you doing it. Or 3, they don’t know you. Word’s from Jesus: “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.” (Matthew 19:26) Don’t let someone else’s doubt hinder your determination. Period.

Affirmation 3: You have the power and the right to define yourself. We’ve talked about Confidence, Limitlessness, Success and now Determination. And the key to accessing these affirmations is being willing to define yourself. So when you wake up in the morning, before you start your day and start facing all the obstacles of society, humanity, and those around you… Tell yourself who you are and whose you are and walk in it. Define yourself.

Today, my determination is to help you access yours. I am determined to empower you to walk in your truth. I am determined to believe in your ability to succeed. I am determined to access you and for you to in turn access your scope of discovery. You can and you will. I love you, and as always I’m rooting for you. Keep conquering daily.
