About Me

Charna F. Wilson, MFT is a thirty something African American woman living and providing supervised Marriage and Family therapy services, holistic therapy services, coaching services and workshops/public speaking in the Atlanta metro area.

Born to two military and ministry parents in Alamogordo, New Mexico her childhood was filled with family, church, and homes across the country and the world. Growing up a military brat and a preacher’s (and sometimes pastor’s) kid made life filled with nothing short of adventure and life changing experiences.

She has received a bachelor’s degree from Virginia State University in English, a master’s in Family Therapy from Mercer University and certifications in Trauma Informed Practices, Mindfulness Informed Practices, Sound Healing, and Holistic Therapy with Energy and Breathwork, and Executive Coaching. She has plans to obtain associate licensure next winter.

When she’s not providing therapeutic services to diverse populations in the Atlanta Metro Area, she can be found spending service or social time with the national organizations of which she is a member, creating art (in all types of forms), enjoying art (music, movies, museums, you name it) or enjoying her family and friends.

With no children of her own, Charna loves to dote on her nieces and nephews, by blood or by bond.
